The career of Ordway changed drastically in 2011, after her work in the show as Escapee led her to meeting Justin Gaston, her husband. One year later they tied the knot. Melissa's career accelerated following her win of the role of Chloe Carter for Hollywood Heights. Melissa's acting career began to blossom after she landed roles in Ted The League, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone channeling, and Odd Thomas. In 2013, Ordway was able to land two roles as recurring characters on the highly-acclaimed series Sidney Price 90210 and Abby Newman The Young and the Restless.
