Professor Gail S. Goodman, the Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. The university is widely acknowledged for initiating the contemporary scientific study of children's eyewitness memory as well as child victims' witnesses in legal situations. Professor Goodman is a prolific author she has won many awards and grants. She has worked with numerous organizations and government officials across the globe regarding policies as well as research on children who are victims of the justice system. She acts as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a member of various professional associations, including those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
